Black Soldier Fly Larvae are one of the most nutritious live insects commercially available. These grubs contain comparatively high levels of protein and calcium, are easily digestible and low in bad fats. It is recommended that Black Soldier Fly Larvae are fed as the primary protein source for your insectivorous reptile!

Poultry enjoy a varied diet and often eat grubs and insects. Black Soldier Fly Larvae make a perfect addition and protein boost to your Chicken's diet, allowing them to mimic natural behaviour by foraging for grubs.

Larvae may pupate and morph into flies if kept for a prolonged time, particularly in warmer weather. Larvae should be kept in a cool place (but not the fridge!) and fed within 2 weeks. The morphed flies however are still safe to feed to your pet!
