What is a consultation appointment?
A consultation appointment is an opportunity for you to sit down with one of our staff members, talk to them one-on-one and ask as many questions as you like about buying a puppy. You can view the puppies available, and if you happen to fall in love and would like to add to your family on the day, this is possible during this appointment. What is a puppy appointment?
You've already been online or in-store and met the one! How exciting! At this point you have the option to pay a refundable deposit, to ensure your puppy is secured and book an appointment to come in-store and take your fur baby home. During this appointment you will get the opportunity to meet and hold your puppy as well as ask any questions you may have. Your puppy appointment will take roughly 90 minutes and we've broken it down below:
Allow one and a half hours - we will take you through everything.
We’ll start by hand sanitising with a special product to ensure there are no nasties. This takes 20 minutes to be effective.
In the meantime, we’ll run through your puppy’s family tree, health check, vaccination card and desexing certificate; all of which will be found in your My Puppy Book.
We’ll collect some of your information - don’t forget your driver’s licence!
Then it’s time to run through the puppy paperwork together, covering our policies, health guarantees, vaccinations and parasite prevention, training, microchip and the change of ownership among many other things.
Once all the paperwork is complete, we’ll get you started on the essential items you will need for a healthy and happy start.
Your puppy will then be groomed and we’ll show you how to hygiene clip, trim their nails and brush their coat.
When we’re done, we’ll send you and your new forever-friend off with your puppy pack and enrolment in the Puppy Masterclass online with lifetime access.
